I had tried to set up Kerberos V4 with Eric's DES code, too.
and had same error as you pointed.
The error probably was caused by two different 'des.h's - one is
original and the other is included in Eric's DES files.
I succeeded by making the files see the original 'des.h', which
has macro DES_DEFS to avoid duplicate definitions.
Would you tell us how to bring a path file eBones.patch.Z?
I have still difficulity that a ticket contains null portion
where may be for encrypted secret keys.
% is Sandia SNL Kerberos V5 avaiable for out of U.S? even in Japan?
