MIT is continuing development and testing of Kerberos 5, but we can't give a
date for the next beta release. Expect at least one more beta release
before the final release.
We won't change the database format without a reason, but we do assume that
file format and API changes relative to the current beta release will not
affect any production code. It is possible that even the Kerberos protocol
may change if bugs are found in it.
