This is my final last gasp request to try to get HP unsupported,
executable supplied Kerberos code to play in our emerging Kerberized
network (test bed). According to Tai (the supplier/writer) of the HP
code, I need to use full domain names for my instances to use his code.
I can add full domain name instances with kdb_edit but ext_srvtab chokes
when I try to make the srvtab files. I think his ext_srvtab file will take
full domain instances but the MIT supplied will not. Is there a trick I
can use to get around this. I do not want to make my HP720 a master server.
I was hoping to avoid bringing up the distribution code because on first
brush it looked as if HP had shuffled the directory tree quite abit and
the distribution code didn't have the the right 'config' stuff. Is there
a newer release than what I have. We are only bringing up Kerberos 4 here.
Many of you have been helpful and I thank-you.
