widespread implementation of kerberos?

I'm trying to get a feel of how widely kerberos has been implemented,
and how much support it is receiving from vendors (i.e. are hp, ibm,
dec + 3rd party network software developers looking into implementing
it). At the moment, my main interest is whether there are plans for
an official port to hp-ux. If not, has anyone had any success unofficially?
What is the position w.r.t. OSF?
If there's sufficient interest, I'll summarize.
