I am designing a security scheme for a time sharing environment.
Kerberos is one of the solution that I envision. In order to know what
the requirements are on the different devices (Kerberos server, Kerberos
client and Kerberos server running on the service site) on my network, I
would need answers to the following questions:
~ What is the size of the executables for the different agents that
have to be run including:
~kinit and kuser for my Kerberos clients
~the authentication software
~the TGS
~the Kerberos server running on the application site (service to be
accessed)
~ How much CPU does each agent need? (in MIPS/user)
~ How much memory should the different machines have (on a per user basis)?
