Kerberos question concerning realms

How can I move from realm to realm? Do I need to know the names of
all the realms Kerberos needs to go through to get to the realm I want to
get to? For example, in order to get to realm C from realm S it needs to
go
through the inter realms R, F, and B. I understand that when the ticket is
passed, Kerberos version 5 will store the realm information in the ticket.
This way, it can figure out next time the quickest way to get from realm C
from realm S. What happens when the ticket expires? Is this information
stored in a database somewhere, or will it have to re-record it on the new
ticket? (I hope this makes sense to you.)

Thanks
