Has anyone tried to use MIT's sample_client & sample_server with
the Kerberos server provided in Ultrix 4.2?
Sometimes the sample_server dumps core, sometimes the client
does, and other times it returns an undefined ("reserved") error to
the client. Here are two successive runs:
# sample_client me 5
Setting checksum to 5
sample_client: cannot authenticate to server: 85: (reserved)
# sample_client me 5
Setting checksum to 5
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
The sample client/server seem trivial enough, simple calls to
krb_sendauth and krb_recvauth respectively. Any help is appreciated.
