In SVR4 if you choose to mount your filesystems using the UFS filesystem
(as opposed to the SYSV file system) then you won't have the name length
restrictions. As for the ISODE tools, since the BSD networking code
(caveat the streams implementation of TCP/IP) is present you will probably
be able to port the ISODE stuff fairly easily too.
