Problem with rlogin

When I run Kerberos' rlogin, I encounter the following errors:

1)
Warning: No Kerberos tickets obtained.

This occurs before the system login banner is displayed. Is it an error at
all, and if so, what does it mean? Both the local and remote machines are
running Kerberos' versions of the appropriate software.

2)
Warning: no access to tty; thus no job control in this shell...

This occurs after the login banner is displayed, and a shell is created on
the remote machine. However, if I type 'who' on the remote machine, my new
process does not show up as a logged in user. Any ideas on what may be
causing this?

For what it's worth: the machines I am running on are all PS/2's running
AIX with the Transparent Computing Facility.

Any and all help is appreciated.
