Jeanne forwarded me your mail asking if Kris Nyzio could take on the
project of moving Web pages from the VM environment to IS Athena lockers.
This seems reasonable enough. There are a couple of issues:
* The IS locker space granted to us by CWIS is already fairly full. We may
need to request more space before we can "adopt" these pages. Rocklyn, any
idea how many pages are involved and the amount of space they take up?
* Many of these pages (if not all) are not in the standard IS format. Kris
would be happy to convert them into this format if there is no reason not
to. My preference is that as many IS pages as possible have the same look,
since this gives clients a visual clue that they are indeed in the IS Web
site.
* If some of the pages shouldn't be indexed, or are ready for archiving, it
would be useful to know that up front.
My suggestion is that Rocklyn contact Kris directly to set this transition
in motion.
