the first is mostly an fyi. i just went through the /mit/is/help tree and
updated a bunch of outdated links to casetracker, as well as some that
were wrong. please be aware of that in case you have work-in-progress
copies of these pages on your personal machines. also, the correct way to
link to casetracker is through the URL http://casetracker.mit.edu/ this
front page does not require certificates, and has links to the appropriate
interfaces (customer and consultant).
the second is somewhat related. i need some help making up a good front
page for casetracker at the above URL. the current one has links to all
the right places but is otherwise pretty pathetic. essentially it is just
a gateway page with a short explanation of certificates and casetracker,
and links to the certificate pages, the IS help pages, and then the
casetracker customer interface. as a footnote, it should also link to the
consultant interface in case a consultant is lost and tries to start
there. if anyone has suggestions or would be willing to volunteer a free
cycle or two, please let me know.
thanks!
