Hi Robyn,
At today's Y2K Team meeting we agreed to suggest the following changes to
the IS Main Page during the period Thursday December 30 - Tuesday January 4:
1. Highlight the BCMT Page (http://www.mit.edu/bcmt/) at the top of the page.
2. Highlight the 3-DOWN page next.
3. Highlight any other links which the IS Home Team believes would be helpful
to users during this period.
4. Retain (of course) the standard links which currently appear on the IS
Home page.
Our suggestion is that the temporary y2k-related links appear in a different
color. If your team chooses the color, we will make use of it in our web
page as well. I like your idea about having the IS Home Page spotlight mimic
the MIT main page spotlight. Hopefully the recommendations we have made above
are suitable for the MIT main page as well. Hopefully Suzana will weight in
on this.
