We talked about http://web.mit.edu/software/ at the IS-Home team meeting
last week. The consensus was that the information contained in these pages
could be incorporated in the standard support sheets for these products.
(Again, start at http://training.mit.edu/products/test.html and drill down
to get to our format for software support sheets -- to be released in the
near future.)

In addition, an extra link could be added to the Software section of the
Supported Products page, called something like "Software that requires MIT
Certificates for download." This would take you to links to the support
sheets for Virex, Brio, Eudora, Kerberos, Netscape, and Better Telnet.

You may or may not agree with these suggestions. Even if you do, the
IS-Home team would still like to meet with all or some representatives from
the Software Release team, so that both teams are on the same page going
forward about how to add information about software to the IS web site.

Would some members of your team be able to join us for a meeting on Friday,
December 3 at 9:30?

Thanks for letting us know,
Robyn
