As we discussed at the meeting today, each of you should start a
"usability" relationship with two of your MIT colleagues -- one an average
computer user and the other technically adept. Let them know that you plan
to contact them periodically to ask them questions about the IS Web site.
Here's the first assignment with your contacts:
1. Ask them what they would expect to see on a page called Computing at
MIT, that's a link off the main MIT home page. Get a brain dump of all
their ideas.
2. Show them the current Computing at MIT page and find out their reaction
to it (what they like or don't like) and what they think of its
organization.
Please have your feedback ready for the June 18 meeting, where we will
compare notes.
We will meet with Suzana about the page on June 25.
Thanks in advance,
Robyn
