Hi Gang,
Below is the "final" version of the mail message to IS. I've decided to
send it on Monday, when people are Monday-fresh instead of
Friday-washed-out. If you see have suggested changes, please let me know by
Monday first thing.
I'm leaving in a few minutes to go to a memorial service, and won't be back
today. So if you have comments, please send then via e-mail or leave me
voice mail.

The IS Home Page team is building a list of all public IS web pages. Our
purpose is to take advantage of MIT's newly acquired Ultraseek search
engine, which will go into production in early November.
Many IS pages are within the "web.mit.edu/is" locker; however, an important
number of pages are elsewhere. If you maintain IS Web sites that are not in
the "web.mit.edu/is" locker, please send their URLs to is-home@mit.edu by
Friday, October 30. This will ensure that they are included in the new IS
search interface.
