I included the format with hand written changes that Theresa dropped off in
N42 a couple weeks back. We should not be mentioning specific
manufactures. The "or better/later" can be removed if the title of the
section includes "minimum."
For Windows machines:
CPU (note I originally had "PC" at the end but think it is better with out it):
486 or better
or
Pentium 120MHz or better
OS:
Windows 9x, NT 4.0, or 2000
or
Windows 9x or later (for non win3.x systems that include NT 3.51)
RAM (I said no space, but it looks better with a space):
32 MB RAM
or
16 MB RAM (Windows 9x)
32 MB RAM (Windows NT)
Hard disk:
100 MB of available hard disk space
So a sample might look like
- Pentium 120MHz or better
- Windows 9x, NT 4.0, or 2000
- 32 MB RAM
- 150 MB of available hard disk space
For Macintosh machines
CPU:
68020, 68030, or PowerPC based Macintosh
OS:
MacOS 7.x or later
RAM:
32 MB RAM
Hard disk:
100 MB of available hard disk space

Serial communication software
I will get a better description from those who regularly use the product
