We've enhanced libtel, the unix shell script that let's you access

libraries and databases all over the world, quite a bit.Now we're

ready to make it available to the world via anonymous ftp on

samba.oit.unc.edu as pub/docs/libtel.

---What it is--

libtel is a unix shell script that allows menu-ed access to about 190

libraries plus a number of interesting public access databases and

bulletin boards.

---What it requires--

tn3270, which is also available on samba as

pub/tn3270/disttn3270.unc.tar.Z
Your host should be also running DNS (aka BIND aka named aka name
service) for name resolution.

These services:
Ham Radio Call Book
National Science Foundation
Geographical Server
Weather Server

These BBSs:
Cleveland Free-net

These countries:

(CA) Canada
(UK) United Kingdom
(DE) Germany

--How to try it before you get it (or after)--

telnet samba.oit.unc.edu
