This month's ELIBDEV meeting be on Friday, August 5, at noon, in E40-382, the
large conference room.
The format of the meeting will be informal, and the topic is:
"A Review of the Library/IS Projects in Light
of the CWIS Renewal Strategy."
Agenda:
1. Welcome the new CWIS Facilitator Suzana Lisanti who has
recently joined DCNS to facilitate the CWIS renewal effort.
Suzana asks for our help in understanding the work that has
been done on collaborative projects between the Libraries
and IS, and for our input on the way we can jointly
renew/develop MIT's campus-wide information system.
2. Review the current status of projects.
3. Begin our discussion of how these projects fit into the CWIS:
- How can the CWIS Facilitator best support these projects
- What successful processes are in place that facilitate
Libraries/IS/MIT community collaboration in terms of the CWIS
- What processes should we develop to further the goal of a
visible and vital campus-wide information system.
