The next ELIBDEV meeting will re-visit a topic that we've talked about many
times in the past--Electronic Forms. The meeting is scheduled for:
Friday, April 1
noon - 1ish.
Room E40-382.
BROWN BAGGING WELCOME!
The format of the April meeting will be informal, and will consist of a review
of recent activity within the Libraries, and within IS, in this area.
There are several threads that warrant updates from the folks involved.
First, there's been talk of using E-forms since the earliest days of the Library
Access from Athena project, e.g., for Requested Purchases. Grant can give us an
update here.
Second, we're moving ahead with NOTIS Horizon, and there may be some provision
for such forms in that system. Tom etal. can give us an update here.
Finally, the Phaedo project in DCNS has continued to produce technology that is
adaptable to a variety of needs--e-forms, routing and other workflow situations.
It has most recently been used as the Athena front-end component for the HASS-D
Lottery System. Andy can give us an update here.
