Many IS/Library projects are approaching maturity. We plan to have a
demonstration of these on Feb 5th, 11-12, in room 14-0637. No general
demonstration will be given; instead we'll bring up several workstations
running the applications and have demonstrators by each one. You simply walk
around the room choosing the demos that interest you.
Applications to be demonstrated are:
Electronic journals access using Gopher and WAIS.
The new Dash menus for the library system.
Medline access using the WILLOW X-interface. WILLOW
could also become our information interface to other databases.
DOS CD-ROM access using Desqview/X
