Everybody,
This is the cover memo and the agenda going out to DRA, our last
vendor for this portion of the RFP process. Please note that the
schedule is different than the schedule's of the previous vendors!
Because of demand for the Visitor's Center in the morning, I have
placed the TECHNICAL OVERVIEW first in the Athena CONFERENCE Room.
The late morning concurrent sessions and the CAT session in the
early afternoon remain unchanged. The General Overview, including
a look at the Online Catalog will be in the afternoon, 3:30 - 5:00.
I would be grateful if you could pass this information along to others
who might be attending. Thanks to everyone for your full participation
and interest in these visits.

Subject: Data Research visit on Jan. 19
We are looking forward to your visit with us on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
Below is the agenda we have set in order to utilize the time to
best advantage. In the session on Acquisitions, we hope you will
pay particular attention to the new serials management function.
We will be able to provide you with connections to the network
and a VT100 emulation. In the Library Conference Room (14S-334)
we will use an overhead projector and a datashow device. You
will note that two sessions take place in the Athena Offices
(Building E40, third floor). The Technical Session will take
place in a conference room (E40-382); this will be an opportunity
for you to provide us with a technical overview of the system.
The general overview will take place in the Athena Visitor's
Center (E40-302) and you will have access to a phone line, a
screen, and an overhead projector. For this session you should
provide a laptop, modem, and a datashow device. If you have
questions please give me a call at 617 253-5654; fax, 617 253-
8894, or email, ganderso@athena.mit.edu.
Have a safe trip.
