Abstract
This meeting will focus on distributed information systems, primarily
those that are used to retrieve public documents. Some of these
services include Gopher, TechInfo, WorldWideWeb, VTX and WAIS. There
will be a demo of Gopher and the next release of TechInfo.
We will look at differences between these services, especially searching
and presentation of information. We will also look at how library
services are being introduced within these information systems.
Please come with your questions as their will be time to discuss these
services.
