Hi,
We got this mail from a client, and I have no idea what to tell them. My
only thought is that they don't have enough RAM, but if they really have
nothing else running, and they are able to normally run things like
Netscape, then that doesn't make sense.
This is for Help Desk log 76379
thanks,
Alicia

Hardware: Macintosh
Model: 7200/75
Software: MIT Eudora 3.02 Installer
Version: 3.02
Operating Sytem: MacOS
Version: 7.6.1
Description: I tried running the MIT Eudora installer to upgrade my Eudora
to v3.02 (from 2.x). I get thru all the preliminary screens up to the one
which describes the S/W download times, and then I get an error message
dialog box and the installer quits:
"Memory error initializing buffers 1009:1,-108 Out of Memory"
Any idea how to solve this? I wasn't running any other applications with
the Tether connection (i.e. Navigator and Eudora Pro both off).
