Updates to Mac Installers, Tools, and Documentation

I have placed a variety of new and updated files in the installers locker.
Mac FTP Installers Tools Distribution
-------------------------------------
Two files have been updated:
* "Convert Files to MacBinary" - the AppleScript droplet for encoding files
to MacBinary using Stuffit Deluxe. Now it will accept either files or
folders dropped on it, and encode any files it finds to MacBinary format.
(Previously it only accepted folders.)
* "Kerberos Template.vct" - the Installer VISE project file to be used as a
template for starting new installer projects that include Kerberos.
Several new action items have been added to try to remove any old versions
of KClient that a user might have (including ones in the "Extensions
(disabled)" folder and ones named "Kerberos Client").
The latest version of the FTP code resource is also included (no
significant changes have been made in several months to it).
The distribution, a binhexed, self-extracting archive, can be downloaded from:

Installer Archives

I have uploaded the Installer VISE project files (".vct files") and related
files used to build each of the Macintosh installers I've constructed.
With the exception of the Eudora Installer Distribution, each contains all
the files you would need to build the installers.
Each is a binhexed, Stuffit-compressed file. They include:

(The Eudora installer does not include the necessary files, aliases, and
MacBinary files needed to build the installer since this would make the
distribution 8 MB compressed, and nearly 30 MB uncompressed.)
Installer Version Histories
---------------------------
Text files listing the revision histories for each of the above installers
(which result in the "rev 1.1" notations) are found in the
<http://web.mit.edu/installers/www/>
directory.
Updated Installer Documentation
-------------------------------
I've updated all the installer documentation to reflect the most recent
changes to the installers and the switch to Installer VISE 4.5 (which
renamed and relocated many of the menu commands and preferences).
