strange file size when downloading wlprinst.exe

Why does the wlprinst.exe binary download as 89K rather than 271K?
This happens whenever I download the wlprinst.exe program from lynx,
netscape, or IE.
Downloaded from http://web.mit.edu/installers/win.combined/LPRSpool/
-rw------- 1 fubob 89896 Dec 16 12:49 wlprinst.exe
But the real file:
-rw------- 1 16478 271263 Aug 21 1997 /mit/installers/win.combined/LPRSpool/wlprinst.exe
Is this the fault of the web.mit.edu server?
