Hi,
ftp error 2001 during the installation process can be caused by many
things. A poor network connection that is dropping packets is one
possibility out of many.
If you are using Windows 95, 98, or NT, take a look at
http://web.mit.edu/pbh/www/early-testers.html
This requires an X.509 certificate to download the installers but the
installers are monolithic. Please send feedback to the installers@mit.edu
mailing list.
