10/31/97 @2:35:15 PM - Anger - Claude tried to download HostExplorer
(KTel.Exe) from our Web page, but the installer could not connect to
Net-Dist.MIT.Edu through the Lincoln-Lab firewall.
Jeff says that the only approved method (perhaps the only possible method)
for Ftp transfer into Lincoln Lab is for outsiders to Put files to
LLAN.MIT.Edu, from which insiders may then Get them.
In the early part of November, many Lincoln Labbers are getting SAP clients
installed on PCs, along with Kerberos access; this would be a good time
make HostExplorer available also. Can a suitably modified installer or set
of files be sent to LLAN for general distribution there? [Forwarding to
Installers.]
