Kerberos from off campus

Hi,

We have this log from a client who is unable to access the KTEL client, as
he is not on the MIT subnet. Because the installer is an active FTP, he
cannot download the client to his machine. How can he get a secure
connection to MIT, or is there a way he can get the software installed onto
the various non-MIT machines without the FTP installer (as he is affiliated
with MIT)? We have also seen this concern many times with Eudora
installations, as people (eg. professors on sabbatical) are unable to
install the software necessary to have secure sessions. Perhaps there is a
way the installers can be made so that the user can log in to get the
software, so off campus affiliates can get the necessary software.

Thanks,
Mark Davies
