Here is a copy of a readme which could be placed on net-dist with
the setup files for Brio Query in a self-extracting zip file.

Please review and send comments or suggestions back to me.

thank you

Lynne

and for those who do not use Eudora here is the text:

Welcome to the installation of Brio Query Explorer.
Please download the Brioinst.exe file in
binary mode from net-dist.
Place the file in an empty directory not named Brio.
Double click on the file to extract the files neccessary for the installation.
Double click on the setup.exe file.
You will be prompted for the following information:
Install key: TAEZL (case is important)
Serial #: 405281414-600643304

When the installation has completed you can just completely delete the
directory you
extracted the files into.

This installer will recognize earlier versions of Brio Query and upgrade them
appropriately.

Under Windows NT you will need to have SQL*NET 2.3 and ANO installed on your
machine
before you can connect to the warehouse machine(s). If, after you have
installed Oracle,
you have difficulty connecting to the database you may need to install the
following dll file: ora71win.dll. This file should be placed in your Oracle\bin
directory with the rest of the dll files. This file is available for ftp
from the
following location: .....?

From time to time Brio does produce patches for their products. Information
about
these patches is available at: http://www.brio.com/brio/Welcome.html.
