A new version of the Eudora 3.02 for Macintosh (r4.1) has been released
to the test directory on net-dist. We encourage you to test this installer
by the end of the week. If things go well, we plan on pushing this into the
current directory early next week.

Major changes to the installer:
* New ftp code makes one connection for the duration of the installation.
Older ftp code attempted a ftp connection for every file. This should
greatly improve mid-installation reliability and improve speed.
* Fixed bug in the Eudora Installer Assistant that caused a crash under
Mac OS 8.
* Installer now does not try to send quit events to Express Modem and HP
Backgrounder. This will cure the problem that Express Modem users were
having using the installer.
* Improved the installation decisions for system files under Mac OS 8.
* Includes improved KClient installation decisions for dealing with
really old KClient extensions.
* Built with latest version of Installer VISE (4.6.1)
