I spoke with Joel Kelfer (Superintendent of Plant Operations) and Steve Miscowski
(Manager, Electrical Services).
Jerry and I have agreed to permit them to perform this shutdown, even though
they gave us insufficient notice.
Each of buildings 1,2,3,4,6,8 and 12 will be shutdown for some period of time
(about 4 hours per building) during the hours of 8am and 4pm on each of Saturday
and Sunday. Each building will only be shutdown once, with some buildings being
done on Saturday and some on Sunday. Note: buildings 5 and 7 will not be shutoff,
they can do the necessary work with the buildings "live."
Tomorrow Steve will provide me with a schedule of when each building will be off
(within some margin for error) so we will know when we need to worry about each
location.
Building 10 was not in the list of buildings provided to me. I will double check
tomorrow as to whether or not building 10 will be affected.
