Some RS6000 Athena AFS file servers need to come out for service
for about 10 minutes for a bug fix. This is scheduled for
tomorrow, Friday Jul 17, between 6:00 - 8:00am. Each machine will
be done sequentially. The work should be finished by 7:00 but
I've allowed extra time for unforeseen problems. The production file
servers affected are: chickadee junco magma oriole.
Users may get "Lost contact with file server..." messages.
The motd says,
Each of the following Athena AFS file servers will be out of service for
approximately 10 minutes Friday Jul 17 sometime between 6:00-8:00am.
