The managed repeater in 1-101j died this afternoon and
so did connectivity to places served by it (eg 1-115).

When I got there, I found that the asbestos removal crew
(about which we received no notification from PPlant)
had blown the circuit breaker with their ventilation
equipment AND had sealed off the closet.

After 45 minutes and two phone calls an electrician
from Plant showed up and reset the breaker (which is
tucked away in a private office across the hall).

ps. The management on the repeater in 1-101j didn't
come back up with the power and we won't be able
to get to it until the removal job is complete.

We should probably start monitoring a couple of
the workstations in 1-115 in the interim. -rmh

pps.Peter, the ISDN phones served by that closed did
stop functioning for the period when the power
was off. There may be some reports on the 5ESS
    that document this. -rmh
