Accidental deletion of files

I am a Lowell student taking C 1. I have just accidentally deleted most of
the files for my final project which I had just completed.
My userid is jerothma. I was working on station M37-312-8.MIT.EDU.
The files were all in the directory /usr/jerothma/final.
I deleted the files at approximately 8:25 p.m. on Thurs. 5/7/1992.
I would be more than happy to simply recover that whole directory to it's
state as of yesterday (5/6/1992). Barring that, I'd like to recover any
*.c files that I can, specifically:
main.c adjustments.c menus.c startup.c shutdown.c mygetchar.c
