While I was away in washington, a student (apprently pissed off, according to
witnesses) kicked the workstation over. This caused a disk crash as you might
expect and now the machine does not work.

On Monday our lab coordinator Susan Levesque notified hotline of the problem.

It is now friday and there is no sign of any work ever having been done on the
machine. Eliot is in our public cluster and is sorely needed now that the end
of semester crunch is very much upon us.

Therefore, I am swapping the cpu of "eliot" with the cpu of "m9-516-1". This
will put eliot, still dead, in 9-513; m9-516-1 will now be in 9-550.

I still need eliot fixed.
Thank you,
   Rob Smyser
