Hi. A couple of pieces of equipment were stolen from the
Dept. of Economics Athena cluster in E52-364 on Sun.
evening (Easter) sometime between 9pm and midnight.
The items were a CD-ROM drive and a 1.5 Gbyte hard drive.
Both were SCSI devices and both were hooked up to an
RS/6000.
If anybody asks you for help in hooking up their SCSI
CD-ROM drive and hard drive to their computer, could you
let me know?
If you prefer to contact the MIT police, the incident is
referred to by the number 9200-3673.
