Hi this is quite an emergency. Around 4 oclock friday afternoon I accidentally
erased one file in my thesis called chap2.tex. This had no aliased or dvi
version in the directory. After spking with a consultant (username honor) I
checked to see if my rm was aliased. it was aliased to rm-i. That I was told
was not good enough. Then I checkled in my /usr/tmp directory. I twas not there
either -though 2 files that I had removed much earlier were there. This file
contains the bulk of my thesis and I will be in a big fix if I lose it! I was
told to write to this address by olc to see if it couyld in some way be
retrieved.
