A friend of mine (kcurtis) needed help unfreezing her machine after
running some buggy Motif programs she was developing. I noticed that I
could telnet to her machine and found that /etc/inetd.conf had been
modified to permit remote access, among other things. inetd.conf~
contains what the modifications that *SOMEONE* made were. I modified the
file back to Athena defaults but could not get inetd daemon to notice.
(I tried kill -HUP inetd_pid, then access_off).
