Workstations ceci003, ceci007, and ceci008 (all in the 370 area) and
e40-353-2 (near the window opposite office 370a) are all failing to activate
this morning. Some display the additional console message
Cannot unmount /srvd. Device busy.
Additional but less critical problems:
) ceci003's monitor has the wrong aspect ration. Somehow the internal
monitor switch has gotten tweaked so that it no longer provides square pixels
and an oblong screen. We would appreciate getting back to square pixels.
) The workstation (S/N WF 72714037, MIT Service #53) in the carrel
in the 370 area immediately opposite office 381 will not boot.
That's a lot of dead machines. We would appreciate help as soon as
possible.
