Hello:

This is in continuation of a conversation with Carol Elder, who asked
that I send the following problem directly to the hotline.

We have an RS/6000 Model 320. We are considering Athenizing it.

If we did NOT Athenize it, one advantage would be to use it as a
"vanilla IBM machine" to test the software we are developing.
Perhaps, this would still be possible even if the machine is
Athenized.

So the question is: if we Athenize an RS/6000, could we still easily
go back and forth between its "vanilla IBM configuration" and "Athena
configuration"?

Further, if we Athenize it, can we turn down the maintenace contract?

Thanks

Best. Varghese
