Jerry-
As you know I met with Bob B. down in 1-115 to look at the returned damaged
desk. I looked it over with Bob and decided that it was unexceptable. And
when you and Ann L came down you also agree'd it was unsatisfactory. For
the following reasons:
1) Scratch is highly visiable on top of desk.
2) The sanding of the desk has taken away the original gloss, and if you
get down at eye level you can really notice how bad a job was done.
3) The front of the desk has a deep scratch that was supposed to be fixed
but doesn't look like its been touched.
Where it stands now is Bob B is going to be getting in touch with Nancy
Hanula and find out exactly what repairs were supposed to be done, Bob
will then get back in touch with us with the info.
I mentioned to Bob that we would probably want the damaged desks replaced.
If not the whole desk then the damaged portions of the desks (tops & front
panels). If anyone see's a problem with this please bring it to my attention.
Also if we have the repairs done this way we would probably be only looking
at a few days of the cluster being down as opposed to weeks.
Any ideas or concerns shoot them my way.
