Ezra:

Brian and I went down and tried to install jsolof's machine today. To speed
things up, we copied the boot stuff onto mccathena. The thick ethernet
adaptor is in slot 1, so

	init
	boot 1/tftp -a

produces the initial numbers, then after a few seconds

	?IO: 1/tftp a.out err (-5)

the bootserver has responded with

Mar 24 16:27:07 mccathena inetd[267]: /site/boot/bootpd: exit status 0x84

for all attempts at installation.

I also recompiled tftpd and bootpd on the PVAX model 38 (the binaries were
taken originally from mothra, a model 30), but got the same results.

any suggestions?
