Here's what the global motd says:
Odysseus, an Athena NFS file server, will be out of service for about
one hour starting at 7:30am on Wed March 4. While it is out of service,
lockers that are on it will not be available. To see if a locker is located
on Odysseus. use the commands:
add info
whereis_locker <lockername>
----
Additional info:
We have to shut down Odysseus so that we can put a new kernel on it
which (hopefully) will put an end to the annoying "irele" crashes
we have been seeing. This new kernel will be watched, and if it seems
to be better than the existing one, it will be put onto the other big
VAX NFS fileservers.
