Hi!
the machine M9-551-4, located amazingly enough in 9-551, no longer boots.
I found a set of install floppies next to the machine from previous visits by
John and by Digital and booted from them once, just make sure everything else
about the system did in fact work. The second time I booted from the floppies
they started to boot but then they hang with the '99' in the led window.
So I guess I killed the floppies, which has happened before. I guess the
software should be installed again. But everything else seems to be working.
Since the machine has a second hard disk, I'd like to make a swap partition on
it and add it to the normal swap on the first disk with the usual /etc/fstab
entry. Any problem with you folks taking care of that?
The dec maintenance number for this machine is 383, the cpu serial number is
#26-0014022.
