Hi Jud,
There are two ways to update your workstation. First,
login to the workstation as root
edit the file /etc/rc.conf and set AUTOUPDATE=true
reboot your workstation
and it will update. Remember to set AUTOUPDATE back to false,
unless you want the next update automatically. Note that in release
7.3 the /etc/rc.conf file has been moved to /etc/athena/rc.conf.
The alternative is to,
login to the workstation as root
cd /
umount /srvd
attach e40staff-rtsys # for rts only
*or* attach e40staff-vssys # for DEC only
/srvd/update_ws
