Well, as far as I can tell, there's a hardware problem, but simply
writing to the disk works. It's writing to the disk with RVD software
that fails. This is the same software that works on other machines of
the same configuration. It's been re-installed and re-formatted. Yet
it still fails during an rvdcopy.
Maybe I'm missing something. I'd suggest someone else look at it with
a new perspective.
