As reported earlier, we had problems this morning with toner splotches on
Thesis. I aborted a job three different times before we finally got
acceptable print quality by switching the development drawer on the spare
ln03. The problem is that the student got charged for the print, the
unacceptable print, which was generated before I issued the abort command.
I was unaware that this happens. I believe that if a job is aborted, the
aborted pages should not be charged to the user. I know that is the way
all other IS printers work.
Thanks,
John D.
