e40-008-6 seems to be having some sort of X problem. I'm logged in
remotely, and I set the display to my machine and tried to start
an xterm, but I got "Error: Can't open display." When I got onto
a different machine (e40-008-9, to be specific), I had no problem
starting up various X windows. Thus, I suspect that it has something
to do with the machine.
