Hi again --
We've got an RT with two 300M drives that is now running
AIX 2.x and the Arc/Info GIS package. We are moving our
ArcInfo license to the new RS6000s we've got, so I want to
take the RT and make it a file server.
I understand I probably have to send a req to Telecomm
or someone for the increased network access charge. I'm
sure the machine needs a srvtab, and so on. I'd very much
like to get this to happen during January, and the earlier
the better. This is contingent on borrowing from Athena
the 1/4" RS6000 tape drive so I can install Arcinfo (I need
to have that running before I turn off the RT), but people
are working on that right now....
