Hello, Ben.

I'm sorry that olc wasn't able to answer your question quickly enough.  The
symptoms you were displaying are all stemming from the fact that your
workstation is out of memory.  If you'd like to enter olc again and give
them the information they requested, I'm sure they'll be able to help you.
The information they need can be sent from your athena% prompt, as follows:

	/etc/pstat -s |& olc send
and
	ps aux |& olc send

The problem is almost certainly NOT related to your quota, although it wouldn't
hurt for you to check.  Use the "quota -v" command to find out how close you
are to your disk quota.

It's possible that your problem is hardware-related, but olc will need the
other information, about processes on your workstation, in order to determine
that.

You can just start a new question in olc to get help.
